Robyne

[English] Robyne was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up in Kenya, East Africa. She has lived all over the world, Africa, Europe (Düsseldorf, Vienna, the U.K.) India and Saudi Arabia. Her career includes: modelling, Kitchen Designing, Interior design, and has taught graphic design, as well as illustrating books, cards and painting murals with her business partner, Top Topham (the founding member of the Yardbirds) and has restored furniture and renovated buildings.
She retired to Portugal and inspired by the natural beauty of the land, has found time and inspiration to paint, mostly using acrylics on canvas.

[Português ] Robyne nasceu em Joanesburgo, África do Sul, e cresceu no Quénia, África Oriental. Viveu em todo o mundo: África, Europa (Düsseldorf, Viena, Reino Unido), Índia e Arábia Saudita. A sua carreira inclui: modelagem, design de cozinhas, design de interiores e ensino de design gráfico, bem como ilustração de livros, cartões e pintura de murais com o seu sócio, Top Topham (membro fundador dos Yardbirds), e restauro de mobiliário e renovação de edifícios.
Reformou-se em Portugal e, inspirada pela beleza natural da terra, encontrou tempo e inspiração para pintar, sobretudo com tinta acrílica sobre tela.

Norberto

[English] Everything is one. Everything flows. Matter is frozen light. Depicting the reality behind reality.
Norberto was born in Regensburg, Germany. In the early years of his career, he worked as a typesetter, layout artist, and graphic designer. The advent of computers in the 1970s and his interest in them prompted him to make a clean break. He completed a degree in computer science and worked as a computer scientist in Munich until his retirement. However, his interest in graphic design and painting remained a constant alongside his professional work.
He has been living in the Algarve since 2020.

Norberto nasceu em Regensburg, na Alemanha. No início da sua carreira, trabalhou como tipógrafo, paginador e designer gráfico. O advento dos computadores na década de 1970 e o seu interesse por eles levaram-no a mudar completamente de rumo. Licenciou-se em informática e trabalhou como informático em Munique até se reformar. No entanto, o seu interesse pelo design gráfico e pela pintura manteve-se constante ao longo da sua vida profissional.
Vive no Algarve desde 2020.
